Cheap subs = no bass?!!

I'd make that trade if there was nothing wrong with the dub 6 and it was a v2. You would be getting the better deal. You can google shop 12" pioneer champion pros for $100- $150 all day. Can't Pull a dub 6v2 used for that in most cases.

but joking aside I'm guessing your box is off...myabe tuned wrong or dimensions are off.

I remeber I built a box for my first sub...a cheap 12" and built my first ported box. The port area was way off and when I actually realized my mistake slipping another piece of mdf in the port actually brought the tuning to what I wanted and all of the sudden...basss lol. but it doesnt seem like it takes alot to throw it off.

Thanks for the help everybody, hopefully we get it sounding good. Oh, when Ii had the boxes made at the shop... I had them in two seperate boxes because I need to put stuff in the car sometiimes. If it makes a difference I can build a single box for both.

I checked polarity, it's right. I played White Girl and it was pretty decent. My old excelons at 250 rms each you could feel and imo they were slightly louder still. I talked with the local shop and they didn't make a box like I thought. It's an Atrend prefab. I paid 250 just for the boxes.

I'm no expert but looking at that port i don't think its tuned to 35hz. If you could put the box dimension and port length and width up someone could put the numbers into torres and see. If that box is tuned to 45 or 50 and you try playing below 30hz then thats bad.

well according to atrendusa.com it's tuned to 33hz. Like i said, i'm no expert.
