LT.Smoke Posted May 24, 2012 Report Posted May 24, 2012 Damn thats a Nice HK.... How does it handle recoil??? flashlight_65 Posted May 24, 2012 Author Report Posted May 24, 2012 I've had it for about 10 years now and after thousands of rounds and with only 1 malfunction (the slide didn't reset all the way forward a 1/4" but a tiny push with my thumb and it was good to go. The recoil is is extremely manageable, nothing like a Glock because it has a recoil buffer spring under the recoil spring at the rear of the guide rod. It's actually a bit more controllable than a 1911 I think. I shot my buddies kimber just recently and it felt like there was a tiny bit less muzzle flip on my USP (granted I'm used to my pistol) but he really like how the HK feels and he's a he a "1911 guy".
