I think if anything the OP should take away from this thread is that P&S is not the answer.

Their are many well made products out there that will not only work better than P&S, but cost the same or even less.

Look at all your options, ask questions, gather info, and compare. I still remember the first time I ever looked for sound deadener, it took me about six months to make a decision. lol

Stinger road kill is pretty thick and cheap for the price. 100 bucks at sonics for 36sq feet, if you want the best tho get 2nd skin alpha damp, I used some damplifier pro jon sent me some samples. It was definitely not as thick as the roadkill but it was easier and cleaner to install. Both good products I think the damplifier pro is perfect for sq systems and normal dampening needs. The road kill and alpha damp is for SPL and heavy weight sound dampening.

Exo couldn't build a brid house just cause someone is good with video editing does not make him good at audio I would not let exo install a pair tweeters in my car he is that clueless

And its been proven that 25% coverage of a good quality deadner out performes 100% covarge of p&s and would cost less to so 25% coverage and less money = fuck peel and seal

I've used both hushmat and audiotechnix, and both have worked great for me. AT seemed to be better for the money, plus it comes in different sizes. It's a pretty damn good value.

I used some P&S one door and edead on another and edead blew away the P&S in how well it worked.

Then i got some 60mil audio technix that blew both P&S and edead away, so i would get some small amounts needed for now of some quality stuff and wait on some group buys or super sales or even some b-stock of good deadener.

EDIT: BTW P&S was a pain in the ass literally to get off and edead was pretty easy as it all stayed pretty much in large pieces so if you decide to ever try P&S rest assured you'll play hell removing it and you had better wait till winter cause it won't be fun in the heat.
