"official" what's your career?

Recommended Posts

Right now...I'm a Taco Stuffer/Floor Shiner lol. But I just finished my first year of College with a Major in Mechanical Engineering. Me likey machines...

Oh and on a side note Engineering Design sucks ass. I don't want to plan it, I want to GET plans and build and service things. I want the man's work.

I actually majored in designing, but switched to service and maintenance where you can do both and get to review other designs, what I also love is each task is different, not the same thing day after day.

I'm just a sales engineer for a small HVAC company and learning autocad/autodesk this month

Have patience. If you start off with a list of instructions it can seem simple. Once you get to the point where you're starting from scratch is where shit gets hairy. It's easy to draw and create things that LOOK like they work but once you get to the point where you have to design a working, moving product (which is where I was when I quit Engineering Design) it can get VERY frustrating.

Especially when the build team just sends it back to you and says "it don't work" like they have no engineering background what so ever. God forbid they should be able to slightly modify a design in the event of a problem.

I loved messing around with Autodesk. But got frustrated with the complexity since I was learning by myself.

This guy knows what I mean.

Anyone else doing anything in law enforcement?

That's what I'm leaning towards when I get done with school. Go into local or county l.e. for a little while, go back to school and get my bachelors in accounting, and then look into the FBI. I have an inside source that tells me they are looking for people with those skills and the pay is very good.

He was taunting me. He's all like "come at me bro!" So I'm like "I'm coming at you bro!" And he's like "hey, fuck you" *chomp*. Then I killed it. I win.

^^^ you have truly taken being a lazy fuck to a new level tonight, an MRE. WOW
