Depending on how well they take the power, either recone them to a larger sub or get new ones all together. Will play it by ear. I just want to give the 12s a good run Mids/highs wise: No plans yet. They keep up pretty well. TBH I'm not sure if I want much louder on them. Too much and my ears ring/hurt lol I metered today too. For those of you who don't know, this is the same score I was doing with my old box and the 3500. But this time, no tuning, box tuned lower than before, subs not screwed in, baffle not glued. Was more for giggles just to see what it would do while it's all ghetto rigged. Surprise surprise lolAlso need to shrink my box a little bit. Seems like these love the smaller boxes. Should bring my tuning up a bit too. Making a home depot run on the way home from school tomorrow. Tried something new and different, but it really isn't cutting it. Doesn't have hardly any mechanical power handling for my subs and it doesn't have the same musical bandwidth as my last box. May work well for something else, but my 12s really don't like this box Going to start another one. Pretty similar to my last box actually. Just smaller. Will use a PVC port for ease of tuning though. So... Anyways... Here's a quickie video. Was turned up as much as I could give them without bottoming out. Voltage you see is at idle, just so you get an idea of how little power I am giving them. Score wise, it's 143-144ish.
