OrionStang
I cut some of my rear deck in order to fit larger boxes in the trunk. If I weld that piece back into place, will it still be considered modified? Its not mangled, clean cuts that will look like new if replaced. Just wondering. IMO I would just weld it grind it smooth and paint it too look like you never touched it. What they dont know or cant see wont hurt em. HunterJohnson
and it was honestly there before, I don't see what's wrong with you just putting it back. It's like saying you converted your battery to the rear for better weight displacement, then you decided to rewire the battery to the front. Yes it was modified before but now it is back to stock. btw I don't even kno the rules this just makes sense to me. HHR Ed
Unless there is additional steel used to thicken it or strengthen it, it will be OK. Of course in SS classes it wouldnt matter anyway. But for lower classes, If the steel is the same as it was before, go for it.
