The reason car audio uses them is because of performance and ability to be mounted any direction wanted. XS i say are the best but there are many other brands such as Northstar, UPG, Stinger, just to name a few. Google and do a little research but just stick with AGM. If all else fails you can run a wet cell deep cycle. I highly suggest not doing that though. It will be better than nothing but, they're typically closer to a capacitor's performance rather than an AGM's performance.
