this is my opinion and ill leave it at that.... i dont believe in gay marriage nor will i ever.. but wait? im trying to stop someone from having a right to marriage by saying this correct? but i have the right to this opinion.. and no i dont really believe that marry whom you want.. but at the same time i believe people are entitled to their views as long as they dont try to FORCE them upon someone else...now educating someone who is ignorant on a subject is a completely different story.. the same people who want to stop people from saying they dont believe in gay marriage or want to stop are the same people who want the right to do what they want and marry who they want.. ironic huh? .so freedom of speech obviously only applies when it benefits your views (sarcasm)

I think it's perfectly valid that he has an opinion and if gays choose not to eat there - that is up to them. Just because he doesn't agree with a certain lifestyle choice doesn't mean he is wrong or bad or anything - it just means he has an opinion: that he is thankful for his life, which involves being married to a woman.

I think it was his millions of dollars in donations to groups that fight to keep gay marriage illegal and also to therapy to change gay people to straight. It isn't just what he believes, but he is using his money earned from the restaurant to fund his donations.

So it isn't just some people getting butthurt over what was said, but rather getting butthurt over what is actually being done. So they are boycotting what they believe to be the source of income.

Personally, I don't think it will work at all and chick fila will end up with some free advertising (although somewhat negative advertising) and so called christians will end up looking like angry hate filled people.

And all for what? 2 guys can't get married or 2 women? this country is ridiculous...

Aside from that, I think it's unfair to deny someone to do something completely legal based on their PERSONAL views... ok so the CEO doesn't agree with gay mairriage, does that mean that everyone else involved with chick-fil-a has the same views? simply put.... no. Once they are denied permission based on one man's beliefs, then it becomes a legal issue

I agree with everything you just said. I don't believe in it, but who's to stop someone one from doing what they want, it isn't right.
