Chris Hammer Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 Dont go with the RF sub IMHO. Look at SA-12's or something from http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/ For your budget look at a Soundstream Rubicon 1600 or a Hifonics BRZ1700. Get some 0/1 wire from Knukoncepts or welding supply or coppercableman on ebay. Do your big 3 and an extra bettery in back. Find someone in your area to build the box for you. You can get someone on here to design it for you and give you plans. Than go to the local college(if the have a woodshop) talk to some people in there and I'm sure you could find someone to build it for 20-40$. I do it all the time in woodshop. You can get a pretty good component set and get a PBR300x4 from Rockford or something small like that to run your highs. Easily come in under 1000$ but you wont get to 150 probably. Especially from the trunk if its a trunk car. 2 -12's would give you more cone are than a 15. IF you dont know much about car audio 2 -SA-12's on 1500+w in a good ported box will probably sound loud as hell to you. Emmet Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 If I were you I'd jump head first into a shit load of research, I think I'd rather know why I'm spending my money on a certain product rather than just because someone on here told me to. Seems lazy. i shook this one kids hand and it just folded in mine. long story short i fucked his girlfriendso.. yeah.. You want this to happen to you? Give decent handshakes people. I was gifted with an innate ability to distribute wholesale ass beatings in a timely and orderly fashion.
HunterJohnson Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 My opinion is just jump in on some used subs here. SA's DC's AA's Skar, obsidian something like that Scion tC SQ BuildiPad mini, lots of fabrication, daily drivenFord Explorer C Pillar Wall Build Just a cheap car to destroy with bass
CXHBumpin39 Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 i wouldn't get the t1, i would get 2 alpine type r 12's or 15's because it would only cost a little more and you'd have two, and the amp i would get a different brand
ChevyBoy95 Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 brand new to you..... but you want 150db on the first try? edit: not to mention you will need more than a G to do a 150. 150s require power, with power needs batteries and an alternator, then subs, materials, amps, wire, etc. i would shoot for a 140db set up, which is louder than most think. xx1 Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 I recommend you to stay in the forum as much as possible. you will learn a lot of stuff if you pay attention and after a couple of months or so, you will be able to make better decisions when purchasing your system. you'll have to wait but you'll be learning and you can use that time to save up. at the end it will be worth it. audio related merchandise (decals, banners, lanyards, hats, shirt, etc)
C-Fizzy Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 Don't get to ahead of yourself. Start small before you spend $1000 on equipment and blow it in 5 minutes because you don't know what the hell you're doing. You don't sign up for a boxing match with mike Tyson because you saw a video on YouTube, right? Same concept applies here. A 150 is not an easy task. under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy?
