Where can I find these aggressive "nut serts" that I see folks set into wood enclosures & then machine screw their woofers into?

Appreciated.

Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out.

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)

Here you go

http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-202704508/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&keyword=t-nuts&storeId=10051#.UN0Ium_IuTI

I don't really like to use them. Switched over to some beefy screws instead. These things are an absolute bitch if they get stripped

They dont work well with MDF. Use a softer wood, and they work better

Can't find a link to them, but I like to use these really beefy construction screws made by Spax - you get them in packs of 10 at home depot and they take a Phillips #3 bit. Never had one strip out on me
