What are you running on stock alternator?

Recommended Posts

Man, all you guys that have 130 and 140 amp alternators are lucky. Wish mine had that stock.

It's looking good for me that I can get away with just adding an extra battery in the back. Heck yeah!

Alt: 78 amps

Sundown 3500W amp and some 600w amp for mids/ highs

2 optima blue tops and 1 xs d3100 all under the hood:)

2/0 welding cable throughout

Big 3

Voltage drops to around 10.8-11v

Dang, what vehicle? Never knew an engine bay that had that much space.

It's an 86 one ton Chevy crewcab with a 454 and only the bare necessities. I could still fit 2 or 3 more batteries in there if I need to :)

I'm guessing he's not running AB (which is what I'm guessing that you're assuming?) Skimmed through his build and im guessing hes only running ~700 watts which would make much more sense...
