Yes, you could do what James said or look at a JBL 2400.1 . (and sell the AQ)

Thinking is the root of all problems...

You ALWAYS get what you pay for.

Hey James lay off him a little. The SQ 2200's are $430, as found here http://www.soundqubed.com/Q1-2200D_p_31.html

Also, it costs about $120 + shipping to have two SA's reconed by Sundown, thats recone prices and the labor cost combined.

lay off? i gave him the exact information he needs. He's just being irrational about what to do. he's been gave multiple options as to what to do...You cant get a rolls royce for chevy cobalt money im sorry it just doesnt work that way.

I've always been taught that you have to pay to play ... in any game.

My suggestion would be to use 2 smaller amps with separate power supplies so it will not be so hard on your electrical ...

and stay at 2 ohms each ...

Thanks so much guys, but it seems that im probably going to be selling the SA-12 D2 (Basically brand new) and getting a discount on 2 SA-12 D4's which will be widening up my options :P

My question OP is why do you have to run them over their rated power..especially in the original posts you state yoiu don't have alot of knowledge. Why not get a Nendo BC2k or SQ2200w amp and run at 2ohms...or if really on a budget look at Soundstream Rubicon 2500..running at 2ohm is 1700w probably a little less but still more than 600watts rms each woofer. Just my opinion..then you might not have to worry too much on electrical either...probably just an extra battery and big-3.
