Glad I'm not the only one who hasn't powered up their SP4's. It hasn't been a year for me yet Mayhems are God Sp4s sound alright When I heard a buddy's SP4 it sounded nice to me. i heard 2 sp4s in a wall doing a 148. sounded alot louder than a 148. in terms of sound color or "sq" it was fine. not like it sucked by any means. id run it. Well, since its all opinion, SQ wise, ill say, the better sounding LOUD driver ive heard, was a Havoc. Then again, they were on less power, and the enclosure could be built to the nuts of making it capable. For ape shit loud, power fed driver, the MAYHEM is IMHO the way to go. Then again, ive heard a bigger mayhem build, that, IMHO, my build sounded better. SO again, its box and shit that all plays for "sounds good". That said, Im very happy with what i have. They sound very ok to me, seem to get loud, i know im not that loud. But, they take it all mechanically, thermally, and look FUCKING good doing it all. Well, i drove to "MY TESTING GROUNDS". About time of sundown. I love that shit. I sit back, have a beer and watch that fucker drop for 40 mins. Laura knew id like to get a ipad mini in the build, so the sweetheart got me a 16g for xmas. In no way are they even average. For a very very power taking driver, they sound dandy. I hope i didnt come across like they are meh. Not all all brosef. I talk to Obando 3-4 times a week. That dudes build, is a lot different than mine. That thing was made for 2 things, and to do those 2 things in domination. Move fucking AIR, and play fucking LOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooWWWWWW, with out abondon. And, it does. You know what i find funny at times? You see big builds, that are built to demo, and hair trick. Play sub 18hz. They are usually missing a dust cap, surround has gorilla tape all over it, or, some shit. His? Fucking nothing. LOL.
