Use some 16ga speaker wire to do your big 3 and for amp +/- Just kidding OP, I personally like RF, they are legit but there are other brands that are just as good. I think kickers wire is good, heard good things about knu, stinger. Lot's of good choices. I like RF as well, a bit spendy but materials are top notch. I like the pure copper and true gauging they offer. There are other good brand mentions on here, depends on price range and prefference on brand.
iCool247 Posted April 14, 2013 Author Report Posted April 14, 2013 Ok thanks you guys. I'm having problems with my amp turning on once again and I think this is the problem. The fuse under the hood and the fuses in the amp look good. I know for sure that its not the turn-on wire so it has to be the power and ground wires. The wire to the left goes from the battery to the fuse holder. The wire to the right goes from fuse holder to the amp Pics of inside the fuse holder Are the corroded wires causing more resistance causing my amp to only see about 3-4volts at the pos. and neg amp terminals? But when the amp is unplugged and I test the end of the wires both pos. and neg. Guest Posted April 14, 2013 Report Posted April 14, 2013 you tightened the set screw ontop of the insulation. its supposed to tighten down the strands, not the plastic.
