TaylorFade Posted May 21, 2013 Author Report Posted May 21, 2013 The boxes you do for the SPL, It seems like a lot of the ones I've seen seem to be one note wonders (usually tuned to the cars resonant frequency) is this how you're able to pull such big numbers out of such "low quality" subs? Or does it do 150's across the frequency range? One note wonders. If you want numbers... you gotta build for numbers. Or have deeeeep pockets. I prefer the former. Lol.
TeamHT Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 How many of the big time competitors actually win with setups able to reach peak score through the frequency range? It's an spl comp, not a demo. But then again it's why I like daily ground pounders Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

It's an spl comp, not a demo. But then again it's why I like daily ground pounders There are a couple. But they're freaks. Bo Carriga (sp?). He does 160+ in SB3 (eight 10's. 30 sec average) @ like 30hz or some crazy shit. Jeff Rowland too. Nobody can touch him. 165+ on music. He's more than happy to give you a demo. But make sure to locate the door handle before the demo starts. Lol. These are the only guys I know in USACi that consistantly win at a world finals level with a daily tuned setup.
TeamHT Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 Yeah, my point was VERY few of them. If I wasn't so far north I'd love a demo. Maybe I'll do a west coast to east coast road trip stopping by and getting demos from all crazy builds and video document it! Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
hdorre Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 I don't go on CACO much.. Mainly just to buy and sell shit. Once in a while, I do read some of the threads. TaylorFade is one of the very few people who stand out to me (in a good way lol).
