Ok, you guys have proved/disproved thoery's on CAPs and cheap amps using the AD-1. Can you use the AD-1 to prove/disprove 0/1 CCA (oversized) and 0/1 OFC? possibly include the 2/0?

I'm game for that. Like: testing out various front-to-back runs?

I'd chip in for the wire

I'd like to see the difference on a legit 2000 watt amp. Obviously anything over 250 amps might result in a huge issue.

My install for example. Dual 370 amp alternators two runs each to a D3100 with four runs of positive and four runs of negative to a bank of five XP2500s. I honestly don't see the value of using OFC vs CCA. But then again I'm powering an AQ20 to .67 nominal. I expect a good amount of current draw, but not more than my CCA can carry.

Guess I'm deviating, half a bottle of crown :)

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

Six runs of positive and six negative from the bank to the amp :)

I have a video, and a issue I'm seeing in my build with regards of wire type.

I've already spoken with TD, and showed him the video, and when I'm further along the build, this will get a very thorough goin through.

If what is going on that we think is,... You may be surprised about difference in wire type.

I have also seen some differences, and wouldn't be too surprised.

But I'm in for seeing the AD-1 test all the different wires.
