AD-1 Request: Solder vs. Crimp vs. Ghetto crimp

Recommended Posts

Could you do a comparison between soldered terminals, crimped lugs, and lugs/terminals that are squeezed on with a bench vice / some pliers?

I have a crimper I could use to either loan out to you guys or make some connections on some wire and send that down

Sooo... you want your copper or aluminum shielded with... a shitty conductor? Silver solder (contrary to it's name) has 16% of the conductivity of copper. No thanks. Ill crimp.

Could you give some info as to where you are coming up with these numbers? :)
