scooter99 Posted July 25, 2014 Report Posted July 25, 2014 Damn man, it's looking really good. I know a certain someone with a BIG ASS TRUCK and a BIG ASS WALK THROUGH who told me to run my subs separate from the 360 when I had mine. Said they had all kinds of issues with it as well. Sure would be nice to see them get the bugs worked out on this thing cause it could be such a great unit for the price. Looks great bud! Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build
Kyblack76 Posted July 25, 2014 Report Posted July 25, 2014 There are always issues. Just keep swinging. My .3 ran OK, it just had issues with the knob working right, connection issues, and software updates would never "take". Had it in, played with, out, and sold in one day...lol.... Good luck man. goodvibez Posted July 31, 2014 Report Posted July 31, 2014 Haha thanks man I'm down here at shca right now been kick in it with the crew and getting some help figuring out my system issues then I should have some real updates! Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. The people who criticize or try and one up you....have a p.o.s to no system at all and will tell you all about this "other" guys system! Saddley I'm sure if I meet this "other" guy...he will probably tell me he thinks your just as annoying as I think you are! I'm not compensating, just proud of fabricating! goodvibez Posted August 4, 2014 Report Posted August 4, 2014 alrighty guys I'm back and playing But not loud yet I might not think its loud because Ive been hearing mulitiple 160+db systems almost everyday for the past week so I dunno. I have allot to do still on this truck still like deaden the doors and there are some tweeks I think I may do to the box to help. Still have yet to turn it up louder than 22-23...played for 12 strait hours with volume around 20-22 on my drive home and subs were slightly warm if that the amps stayed around 120 and my fans in them worked great! I have some nasty coil rub on two subs one worse than the other, was told by rusty to blast some lows and it should go away....I dunno I mean 12 hours of 3/4ish volume should have done the trick...I'm still wired at 1 ohm so its still under warranty. lastly I figured out I have massive box rise!! Like I rise 6x haha so Im getting very little out of my amps. Sidney Wilcoot of DC Came over and was helping us troubleshoot my gains issue and we clamped it at like a little over 1000watts which is still good at that kind of rise....I may be wiring down to half...but its the last thing I'm going to try to get this thing louder. anyhow here are a few pics My SMD OM-1's are not calibrated FYI...its a bitch to get to...next time around I will be making that part easier. Had to take some pics while at SHCA They pulled my dustcap to check the coil rub then told me it should fix itself not so sure about that one Finally wired in my LED's Not a bad view in my mirror haha...going to have to put those bad boys on a switch though...freaking bright! Cant see out my back window haha! Edit I took a few more pics because I couldnt help myself Now you can see why they need to be on a switch! Cant see shit out my window! goodvibez Posted August 4, 2014 Report Posted August 4, 2014 So I played a song that doesnt have the annoying coil rub buzzing..only happens at certain frequencies...over played song but sounds good...Like I said in the vid volume is at like 20 so its nothing loud right now...but does sound good! I have turned down the mids and highs and I may need to turn them up a bit again...tunning is funnnnn! Not!
