MACnonsence6 Posted May 28, 2013 Report Share Posted May 28, 2013 im looking for some decent budget sound deadening i plan to do my whole car floor,ceiling, all pillers, doors ect so i need something that wont cost 400 to do the whole car I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. To make sure it's deadner and not roofing material, make sure it is butyl based not asphalt It's not going to be cheap, but you generally only need 25% coverage on a panel to stop rattle.
