If I remember correctly, two main hubs for UPS, Ontario which is their western hub and then Louisville which is the eastern hub. Most facilities should be sorting depending on state and zip and from those two main hubs it gets split to individual facilities. I managed at our UPS facility god over 10 years ago and Alaska is the import/export gateway into and out of the states. When a hundred packages are coming down the belt you have a second if that to see a package, review for defects, notice any hazmat, identify state and zip, scan, and then stack and load into the can. Its a fast paced job and it looks like your west coast package somehow got picked up into an east coast can. Of course once Louisville receives it they see it and it gets put into an Ontario can to come right back to where it came from, lol Quote Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
