I like this build. You got good skills :)

Lots of Sorentos in my country too. Interesting ideas.

Thanks man, I try my best with what I have

Small update, friend Dave, who's been installing/building for 25 years, told me to add a ground to the body of the car since he says all of the car's electronic's are grounded to the body and says covering the body, frame, and engine block will provide no ground weakness, well did it and it got rid of my rca noise.

Decided to use my leftover audiotechnix and some stinger roadkill to fully deaden my doors

Also fixed the loose handle

Passenger door done

Noticed a good improvement in sound and less door rattle, still some but that's something closed cell foam should fix

Here's the idea of the frontstage

4 Goldwoods, 4 Silverflutes and 2 Dayton Planars

2 Goldwood 8's per front door, with plans of treating them
Crossed from 40-300hz(strictly midbass)

2 Silverflutes 6.5's per kick panel(full range[they work their best full range], crossed at 100hz to protect them mechanically from bass, since they will act as a midrange, which they are excellent for). From what I read, having speakers in the kick panels makes the path length closer (speakers are closer to the ear), so helps with the width of staging and helps increase midrange.

1 Planar per a-pillar, maybe off-axis, maybe 60% off axis, I'll play around with placement, crossed at 3k at a 12db slope. Interesting thing about these types of speakers, it's mostly horizontal dispersion instead of circle dispersion regular tweeters do, they are usually for line arrays, but I seen a few builds work well with them. Other interesting thing about them, they have no postive/negative polarity, it's a type of speaker that has no phasing, kind of interesting.

Not trying to compete sq or anything, but do want a better frontstage that sounds better and louder without it being harsh ( cough cough Pro Audio [well the cheap shit most people run lol, good stuff is $$$$$])

Power config
AQ 120.4 on the planars and silverflutes
60 rms( 8 ohm) per planar
170 rms( 2 ohm) per pair of Flutes( 85 rms per piece)

So about 1000 rms to the front stage lol

Also got 200ft of 12 gauge ofc speaker wire, from parts-express, was gonna go Sky High but they were out lol

On the update of the alternator from Singer, Mike told me he has to get special parts from a few companies since my Kia alternator is a pain in the ass, but hopefully I should have it soon. Nice thing about getting an alt from Mike, I can bug him and he answers back :) Also answered all my questions as well, like if I need a shorter belt, which I do, which is normal.

Hopefully I can tear everything out to re-wire and add wire this weekend, school work is gonna have me busy this whole week lol

Mike is a good guy to work with. Iv asked him countless questions as iv had to many cars and always get a same day answer. Even when im just gettin a price quote he is good to deal with. But looking forward to the new front stage have to make some new vids once its hooked up

Nice.

Im gonna do a body and block ground, im hoping tonight. Good poop bro. :)

Good shit Kyle

Yeah, another plan is to replace the cca 1/0 on the big 3 with ofc 1/0 so I can save my EA wire for runs

Also gonna connect all the grounds together

Body to frame

Alt to frame

Block to frame

Since my negative runs are gonna be from the frame, might as well have everything connected lol

Want electrical to be solid as a rock lol
