Omega5002 Posted July 6, 2013 Author Report Posted July 6, 2013 Here's the engine block ground, the stock one I couldn't remove by hand because I believe the bolt was machine tightened, but luckily, there's another insert, which required me to get a 12 mm bolt from LowesFuse holder installed using clear mounting tape so I don't ruin the fuse box coverWire sleeve from Sky Craft, and a 2/0 open ended tinned lug with a 1/2 hole to fit the 12 mm boltCleaned with WD 40 to remove rust, sanded down, then grinded downAlternator cablePositive cableInstalledNow charging at 14.5I decided to keep the factory wiring to - Use the car when I needed to( like driving it up the ramp to get to the engine block ground and alternator)- Wiring was weird, and all put together, so I left it alone, and the fuse box had grounds coming from it- If I decide to sell the car in the future, I can pull out the big 3, and still have a functioning vehicle 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)

Sabian Eric Johnson Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 Where are you grounding your amp? because I have a 2013 kia sorento and I can't seem to find a ground. I've hooked everything up and get a heartbeat noise from my subwoofer. I can't figure it out.
