snafu Posted August 15, 2013 Report Posted August 15, 2013 (1) pair MBQ QSD-216s (1) RF T8004 - bridged to two channels 70 Hz and up Constructing a proper baffle for midbass drivers is paramount - mine started with a piece of 1.5" thick Baltic Birch and a day of elbow grease to get it in the same shape of the stock 5x7 inch rings. Also, sound deadening is paramount - the exterior skin in my doors has four layers, the interior skin, two layers. IF ONLY I had Second Skin at my disposal when we built the system . . . Quiet Posted August 15, 2013 Report Posted August 15, 2013 Soundstream Tarantula coaxes with full passive xover on Cadence a/b 150w 2ch. Suprisingly clean and crisp for soft domes and are screaming for more power. 2007 Pacifica Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud.

Didn't even know what that term meant until a week or two ago either! Gonna try my hand at fiberglassing in the next month or two though and try putting a PWX 10 and couple tweeters per front door or something to go with the 4 6.5s and 4 tweets at the top of my wall Build in progress
