Facekicker
Yeah Kranny they're only going to go up from here, they spiked well over 750 earlier, at about $660 now. Dubin, basically you can only store them in one place, it's not like PayPal where you can send anything from anywhere. You have to create a wallet you kind of consider your master, on a secure computer usually a home PC. You can't access the BTC stored here unless you're actually at the machine. You send BTC to the exchange, and then you have it stored there. Coinbase is a good site too I actually meant to add that into my post. Or to spend it, you would send it to a mobile wallet. It's just like a real wallet though, lose your phone or break it totally fubar, and you lose the BTC you had stored on it. There are web wallets you can use to make accessing your coins a little easier, but they have all had a security issue or quirk here and there, and I've yet to use them. So far it's been bitstamp or coinbase for me and its been safe and easy. 2002 Monte Carlo Started a build log Fi, DC, Mechman, XS Power
Facekicker
Do you store them on your computer or on a online site? i had them on my computer in an encrypted wallet. and stored in certain online backup accounts. had them in coinbase for a few days til i decided to sell...which i should've fucking waited to do LOL. still kicking myself for selling too early (like two weeks ago...) What method did you use to make a wallet. All the ones I have been reading were way over my head. Plus how would you transfer from the site to your wallet? http://bitcoin.org/en/download Go there. Download it, install it. Once it runs, go to the receive tab meanwhile it will be connecting to the BTC network and begin downloading block information Click "New Address" Congratulations, you've got a BTC wallet and an address that is tied to that machine! You can then click on the address it generated and save the QR code for easy payment 2002 Monte Carlo Started a build log Fi, DC, Mechman, XS Power

Facekicker
It works to buy them, but you'll never get the money back to USD if you sell BTC. The exchange rate is crazy high on mtgox and it's because it's so limited on who is able to withdraw something other than BTC. 2002 Monte Carlo Started a build log Fi, DC, Mechman, XS Power

Facekicker
While I haven't dumped any BTC yet, I'm starting to sell some of my equipment and I will be putting in a preorder with KNC as soon as they announce something above the Neptune. I'm actually flying to San Jose this Saturday to deliver one of my old Jupiters. 2002 Monte Carlo Started a build log Fi, DC, Mechman, XS Power
