Sergeant_Skyrim Posted August 30, 2013 Report Posted August 30, 2013 I noticed the same thing with mine. The ring terminal style holders don't really close back on top once I have a SHCA oversized 1/0 wire in each end. I sorta forced my covers on but they're still not touching on the bottom. Thought I was a tard too so never said anything lol. Even tried repositioning them multiple times to make sure they weren't crooked Quote Build in progress
SnowDrifter Posted August 30, 2013 Report Posted August 30, 2013 Big wire problems. Sergeant_Skyrim Posted August 30, 2013 Report Posted August 30, 2013 need big boy fuse holders I don't know what fuse holders OP has but I've got the SHCA 1/0 ring terminal style fuse holders and have same problem as him. The copper lugs themselves just hit up against the fuse holder cover xD Quote Build in progress
donpablo Posted August 30, 2013 Author Report Posted August 30, 2013 im using the shca fuse holders lol i guess i will try and bend the lugs a bit Quote 2015 F-150 Platnuim
audiofanaticz Posted August 30, 2013 Report Posted August 30, 2013 cut the ends off the plastic cover.. Did this with the cheap generic fuse covers that everyone puts their names on, and 4/0 fits fine. Quote
