I wonder if those people just didn't look at it that closely or if it was calibrated and really looked convincing. I feel like I would still be able to tell it was a TV because of the color but then again I am around TVs a LOT because of my job and I have abnormally good vision. When you are more than a couple feet back though its true you can't see the pixels at all on 4K TVs they really are amazing. Fuck that BS about 1080p being enough resolution. People just like to hear things like that so they can spend less money on stuff. I had a Panasonic VT Plasma next to a Samsung 8000 series LED next to the Sony 4K and you could definitely tell it was much sharper and those are all top notch TVs. I haven't seen the LGs yet but I have seen the Samsungs/Sonys and yeah I want one. When OLED 4K is mainstream its going to be hard to tell the difference between your TV and real life.
