walwalka
About a year ago I determined that something in my shaving routine had to give, I couldn't do this for the rest of my life. I have a sensitive face and when I was using the pro-glides my face was taking a beating. I would swell up and get super itchy, then I would break out extremely bad. I could only shave like once every 2 weeks, that is completely unacceptable in for my work place. I drove up to my nearest Art of Shaving and got some good advice, the man was great. Very helpful and directed my to the perfect solution. I picked myself of a quality safety razor and some good products to compliment it. Here is what I ended up with: The shaving products are really what made the difference I feel, only having one blade helped with the irritation but the products make the shave smooth as can be. And being able to shave every morning is great. I actually enjoy shaving now! haha.... I'm just curious as to what you guys and gals use? 2010 Honda Civic LX / Deck: Kenwood DDX371 / Front Highs: Crescendo RTS-1 / Front Mids: Silver Flute 6.5's / 4 channel: DC Audio 90.4 / Sub: Fi 15in SP4v2 / Sub amp: Taramps HD 5000 / Power wire: Knukonceptz OFC 1/0 / Deadener: Audio Technix 60 mil / Batteries: XS Power D5100R / Rear bank: TBD / Alternator: Singer 240a hairpin
HatersGonnaHate
My view on shaving Really though, when I do shave, I'm in the same boat as you. Skin gets irritated as hell and it makes me break out. So I've just been using my hair clippers with no guard, leaving me with a 5 o'clock shadow pretty much. I don't go down to the skin that often. OrzechNJ
I always put very warm water on my face before shaving and it helps me avoid red skin and itching.. (I always shave after shower lol) sometimes Loud is NOT pretty Sounds like its safe to go ahead and bend that ass over.
Sergeant_Skyrim
I've been trying to shave in the shower and just turning the water up a little hotter while I do it. Use some sort of Gillette shaving cream and razors from Walmart because I always tend to get an itchy throat after I do shave. But shaving in a hot shower has definitely helped with the razor bumps and whatnot. Make sure to wash the area to be shaved first though so it's nice and clean. And then I use alcohol wipes afterwards to help a little. Have to be clean shaven for work as well so I've come to accept this fact and just don't care how bad it looks after I shave lol. I shaved, can't get in trouble for it looking worse than if I didn't lol Build in progress

Sergeant_Skyrim
Might as well ask then, what's a good electric razor to use for shaving your face? One of my old roommates used to have one that had 3 circle things on the top that I think were cutters, I've just always been afraid that my skin will get sucked into something like that and get ripped off my face lol. Krakin
I shave every morning, and if I have something to do in the afternoon I shave again. I guess I'm very lucky I don't have sensitive skin cause most of the time I forget to replace my razor. That and I only use shaving cream if I let it grow out a few days. But once November hits I forget the word razor.
