Whos loud on music? Nick may not be the loudest, but hes still loud as fuck.. while still sounding great.

Like really.. a 155 on music, from 2 subs, non walled, with a 12k on the stock alt.

I don't have the numbers these guys have but I think my build is unique enough to mention, although I will be moving to a wall build after Christmas.

I do 145 on the dash @40hz with a sealed box in the trunk, not sealed off. i don't see anyone running sealed boxes, I know for obvious reasons, but a flat curve was the goal.

edit: also looks like everything mentioned is a SUV or large vehicle

I wouldn't mind having a 45 from a sealed enclosure.

Krakin's Home Dipole Project

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.

if your thinking not walling don't in less you specifically want to be in that class

I dont care for walls in Daily drivers . Just not my thing ! cant see out the back! i drive a suburban i already have 45 cu ft behind the 2nd row seat below seat level witha square box. If i wanted even more room i could pull the wheel well trim off and get up to near 60 cu ft gross. Wall is highly unnessary for me

wasnt there a sticky thread of walled and a thread of no walled vehicles for the loudest, around here somewhere? they took down tons of names and kept it pretty up to date
