boom50cal
im hoping for similar for my build, though i wont set 150 as a goal, im hoping for mid 140s and anything else is extra. sadly i didnt get to listen to decaf at slamology this year, though a friend who was getting vids for me got to listen to it and got a vid. i was debating on buying decafs amp when it was for sale, or it could still be for sale, but im going to hold off til next year to upgrade power. I heard many trunk builds at slamology, but didnt ask what any of them meter, the loudest trunk system ive heard myself was close to 150 i think 150 is possible for me, but its my first build so i dont want to set my sights too high, ill get there eventually though I hope you can get to 150. I think it will be fun.The loudest I've heard was 2 Memphis 12s in the back of a Tahoe 2k watts I believe on stock electrical. He was doing 148db well outside of trunk cars, my first demo t slamology was dr booms scion, it did 157.7 that day i believe. then i got a demo of i think it was randens suburban maybe, the singer build with like 9 15s on 30-40k or something like that, held the world record for park and pound for a bit. it hadnt been metered when i heard it, but 157 was being estimated, though i think it eventually broke 160, so i have no idea where it was when i got the demo, so i dont consider it a 160db demo Blake Hunt's 'burban. 12 XL 15's on probably 4 9k's at that time. Slinky
Lets keep this thread goin. It's impressive to see these kinds of numbers from trunk builds. I don't have my new box in yet but I fully expect to hit a 50 from the trunk. My car is a hatchback though so not sure if that still counts.
