rajunxcajun55
Hey guys, new guy here. I own a 2003 Silverado ext. cab with a kicker solo x 18 and minor upgrades. I've been drawing a few designs for a box to fit 2 18's. I have the room to do it just not sure on where to put my port and how I should tune it. The subs are Obsidian d4 18's and will be on 1250 watts rms. Also this is NOT a walled box. I drive this truck everyday and do not compete with it. If any of y'all have some tips I'd love to hear um! Thanks!

jk13
Spongebox. I like the thought there but if you don't need that third seat I agree get rid of the whole thing and give yourself a lot more room and fewer headaches. Tons and tons of xcab builds. Look around and see what you like and what you don't...... Static drops are my bag.
TeamHT
Walling has nothing to do with competing and I bet there are more daily wall setups than competing. Take out the back seat and then build up to the window line, subs forward port up. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
rajunxcajun55
It was my intention to take the back seats out. I guess I'll put the port in the middle facing front, any idea on how big it should be?
rajunxcajun55
Only reason I don't want to wall is because I don't trust my mirrors lol, need to look out my window.
