These 'heros' have died in for us in the past 15 years. But nobody gives a shit, because they are not famous or rich. There were no threads made. This is a thread to recognize those who wear the uniforms of our armed forces and have given their lives, some died right beside me, for American freedoms. Whether or not you agree with the campaigns, these men and women volunteered to put their lives on the line for us, and paid the ultimate price.

Thanks for posting this. It angers me that people get so excited about whatever celebrities are doing and ignore the people who are sacrificing everything for our freedom.

most people have no real idea what goes on their, I spent 15months Iraq, and year Afghanistan of combat, and so many things the news never shows, like my unit we help funded schools and would sit out their for days pulling security while being built, and while kids where their so they could be safe but the news never reports that kind of info. In Afghanistan we lost so many people fighting and news people would not even dare come to us only after deployment did we get to go make a tv show for nat geo. Their is many hidden things that the public does not see. Most people fighting their is not doing it for political reasons, but fighting for their friends and others like them who have lost their life in battle.
