Tinnitus - Ringing in ears

i have a constant faint ringing but there are sometime it just takes over and i cant hear anything except the one tone. it happens randomly. im sure i have hearing damage just never been tested for it. right ear is worse to me by far. but i pull on my ear or wiggle my finging in it till it goes away. i pull on my ear lobe till it cracks barely and it seems to drop off after that.

This, if it's dead silent there is a very faint ring but I've had it as long as I remember. Then out of the blue I'll just be sitting there and one ear or the other will get this ping of a whistle that starts loud and tapers off. If I go by frequency tests though, I test at least at normal if not above normal.

Thank god I can't shoot without hearing protection, after first shot my ears are ringing and I am off searching for my plugs or headphones. If I didn't bring them to the range then I am done shooting until I find a pair or go home to get them.

I had it for 3 days after a Judas Priest Concert. I counted 54 Marshall Full Stacks. Loud as hell.

I only really notice it when its really quite. But every so often its like my ears "reset", my hearing goes out for a sec then I hear a ringing noise that slowly fades till my hearing is back to normal... its weird! As for my hearing tests... according to the military my hearing is above average and keeps improving, every hearing test it gets better and better. Which is funny because when I'm in the booth I hear a constant ringing, and between working on the flightline and my blazer I'm positive i have hearing damage (even tho my blazers not loud )

Mine do the same exact thing.

Plus after having surgery on my left ear headphones sound crazy sometime when the right ear phone "sounds" better or more clear. Lol

only time i notice it is when it is pretty quiet. a loud ringing starts then almost turns into a solid tone of like 1k htz then it pops and then im fine. might not even be tinnitus might just be from the pressure around my area. i am always going places that are above and below sea level. yeah its probably that. i hope.

I shot one of my shotguns a single shot with hand loaded hot loads this gun has the shortest legal barrel too.. we were at a range and it had a probably 8ft berm on each side I regret that.. my ears rang for days

Constant ringing. Sometimes it is barely audible and sometimes it is horrible. Between years of playing drums and running loud machines at work without ear plugs....it is definately my own fault.

I hear ringing randomly sometimes and no one else hears it. I'm not sure if I have good or bad hearing though.
