Airborne
Scott owns FI. I don't know why people keep thinking Nick is the owner. So many people that hate on FI for so long and yet don't know who some of the people ars who have been there from the jump. Nothing towards Ken knock, just saying there are these people with these opinions and they don't even know who they're talking to, lol I don't know the guy who owns Audiopipe but I sure as shit wouldn't run "his" fucking amps.lol
CNF Kevosinn
To the people that are talking about overpowering the subs and clipping them thats not what FI is talking about. They are saying that the signal is not "clean" in the top 30 percent of the gain even when it reads clean with a scope or DD1. They are saying it sends a freq. through the leads from poor filtering as Bill said on the first page. *** SuperSeller Status Verified *** ( http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers/ ) "kevosinn's" astro van 8 custom Sundown Zv4 18's 4 Sundown scv 6000's CNF Distribution CNC parts Skyhigh wire some batteries SMD Meters and tools used on the installhttp://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/172877-kevosinns-vanwest-coast-skyhigh-car-audio-vehicle/ 16,000 watt walled silverado build.http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/161965-walled-silverado-4-hdc4-15s-4-crescendo-3500s-and-much-more/ 8,000 watt 1999 Subaru legacy outback. TeamHT
Because it proposes a new issue to technology that hasn't been seen. Your average user doesn't even understand the terms being used, but if the majority was told that their equipment was cheap junk they're going to question why. And if the answer goes over their head, agitation will ensue. I'd like to run more tests because what if the signal noise has nothing to do with the weak link? If so, does this new design fix the issue but not the why? Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
CNF Kevosinn
They are saying the "issue" is the amps and not their tinsels. This is not a fix but more of a bandaid to reinforce them even more to handle the proposed noise? *** SuperSeller Status Verified *** ( http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers/ ) "kevosinn's" astro van 8 custom Sundown Zv4 18's 4 Sundown scv 6000's CNF Distribution CNC parts Skyhigh wire some batteries SMD Meters and tools used on the installhttp://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/172877-kevosinns-vanwest-coast-skyhigh-car-audio-vehicle/ 16,000 watt walled silverado build.http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/161965-walled-silverado-4-hdc4-15s-4-crescendo-3500s-and-much-more/ 8,000 watt 1999 Subaru legacy outback. TeamHT
I disagree. Not that what's being said is incorrect, I'm just trying to make logical sense of it all. And to expect the average user to do so isn't rational Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
Miguels
Fi haven't showed proof of the amps causing it.... i seen a few post of people saying they can see it on the scope. not bashing Fi though. they build beast subs and this wont stop me from buying more. Fi Car Audio Far from the only speakers that burn up.Where does the noise that the output mosfets are working at go if it is not filtered out? Why do the amplifiers that cost more money in the parts and time to make sure the noise is not there if it isn't an issue? Why is the "sine" wave of these amplifiers have a notch wave form in the top 30% of the wave precisely where it burns the coil in the gap and the lead? looks to me like distortion at the upper 30% of the sine wave. could be wrong my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
