What Causes an Overboost Condition?

Recommended Posts

good luck on the cats man after i bought my yukon from ford dealership and got screwed over i never went back to their mechanics

long story short had an engine code they wanted to start replacing parts out the ass needless to say i could see the smoke coming out of their lieing asses now i know its the fuel pump giving me a lean code when i get below a 1/4 happens only in the summer also and they wanted to replace a $300 part for not knowing what they were doing also replaced the upper intake plenum and lower intake gaskets (gm's leaky plastic intake gaskets) pretty much got rid of the code

snip...what you may believe. People with GM's, Dodges, Fords and others have trouble just like you.

Best wishes man.

This too btw, no matter how much people bitch about manufacturer a/b/c, I swear it comes down to luck of the draw sometimes and certain models and/or parts that are just poorly designed

This is the truth

Wow, the element in the cats is all broken up and brittle. Shows no signs of overheating or bad fuel trim though. Ill post pics of the pieces when i get home.

Im waiting for the service manager so we can discuss the warranty, or fight about it lol.
