Need some components to go with 80PRS

Louisiana Bass

I am running T265s in the kicks and T365 in the doors active with about 500 watts total and it gets loud and sounds great doing it. Lots of choices out there i would get a set that can take the power of a 125+ watts.

Sundown SA's are good ones. Rockford T1s, or infinity kapas are also good.

I second the Kappa's ... Kappa Perfect 6.1's ...

See my Build Log for what I did with mine ...

I'm thinking I'll go with either these

https://www.woofersetc.com/p-8297-t1652-s-rockford-fosgate-65-2-way-component-system.aspx

or these

https://www.woofersetc.com/p-11036-sa-65cs-sundown-audio-65-2-way-component-speakers.aspx

Can anyone tell me the pros/cons of each of these, I can't decide which to chose and would like to get these ordered as soon as possible. Would be running on 125rms x 4.

You'll be happy either way. Both sound good. I loved my SAs.

I have the re xxx components running of the 125.4 and they are loud. They keep up with two SQ hdc 3 12s on a ct 2500 which is surprising. I would like to get another set to run off the other channel of the amp. Just my opinion as I haven't listen to other component sets.

You have a HU that is very capable of going active, why not pick drivers yourself (or get help picking drivers) and use the crossover and time alignment settings on the HU?

Thinking is the root of all problems...

I don't know much about active setups, so I would need some help figuring out what I'd need. I wouldlike to go active but I ddon't even know where to begin.

Get a solid set of components if your not comfortable active.

I use an 80prs, pair of fosgate t265s on a fosgate t400.4 and they sound pretty good. Worry about your install. Baffles and deadener!

Not so much deadener, lots of MLV(sound barrier) andsome CCF to decouple everything. (butyl rope can be used too)

Ok, if you aren't comfortable going active you shouldn't.
