hdorre
So heres the story.. its simple enough.. Im looking for sirens that will be heard, and be heard FAR away. I park on campus, and need the sirens to be loud. My budget is around $100. I currently have two DEI Sirens (not the piezos), and those arena cutting it. I want to use the "horn" circuit of my alarm brain for more sirens. What do you guys recommend? fox_racin4
Spend 250ish, Train horn setup And a new pressure switch. Stock pressure switc is around 120/130 Throw a 150on 200off on there and youll be heard from quite aways away. I have my train horns hooked into my alarm. If no affordable siren options pop up, then I may have to go with HornBlasters' kit. Its operating pressure is 145psi, and max is 150psi. Fuck I hate car alarms. Why can't you get a pager type that will alert you via your phone or something like that? Good.. I hope it annoys people like you enough to look over No offense of course.. you know what I mean. Basically, I already have the alarm installed. Ill do my research on DEI's mobile module. Karkov
On a van build I had years ago I had one horn on each corner facing out wired to a battery hidden in the firewall so cutting the wires to the under hood battery would do nothing. I actually got in trouble by the police about it being too loud and yelled at by neighbors. Also, just because it pages you doesn't mean you can always go look and actually do something about a break in. Where I work we can not have the pager portion with us and we work long shifts. If anything were to happen the alarm better be the thing that deters someone from stealing something otherwise I am SOL. so yea, between these two things I don't spend money on an alarm anymore. Sick of getting in trouble and sick of not being able to do anything about it. 2007 Chevy Tahoe (SOLD) 12 ~ FI Audio X series 10" w/BP option 2 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @0.67 3 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @1.0 2 ~ PPI 3 way sets (not installed yet) 1 ~ RF T400-4, 1 ~ RF T600-2, 1 ~ RF T600-4 4 ~ CT Sounds 5.25" Strato comps (rear fill only) 1 ~ XS Power D4800 1 ~ XS Power D3400 8 ~ XS Power XP3000 160 stock alt, Mechman 370 Elite, 185 DC Power 320+ Sq.
