Goingdef1310
Just wondering if there are any horror story's about these high output alts, I've got one arriving Monday that I'm going to try out on my 02corolla . They promise 145 full output at 1500rpm and 65-70 at idle which isn't bad seeing as my stock is 80 at full output and I think does nothing at idle! I installed one of these on a Subaru last year that was having serious voltage issues from a jl1000.1 sub amp and a jl 4 ch on highs and it did well, no real drop at idle anymore but that's all I know about them. Anyone else ever related with them?

Goingdef1310
They where a little out of my price range, at 420 for a 200amp alt I figure I would go the path of modifying the car first. This wasn't on eBay and they've been around for a while and unlike powermax I can't find anything negative about them so maybe it will turn out to be a decent alt for the price! TeamHT
Hey, I used this product one time that sucked so bad that I decided to try them again. Just saying Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
hdorre
This is how I see it.. They're cheap for a reason. If it fails, then what? You're possibly stranded.. and if you somehow make it home, you may have potentially harmed ur batt(s). My electrical system is something I don't take shortcuts on.
