alaskanzx5
I like the p2d48. Give them 100rms each and be happy. You can get a grill like the grill on you kick panels to match them up. could do some shallows if the depth is an issue. They don't do low lows as well but should excel as a good midbass fill imo. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. bcbrassard
Not a bad idea, the P3SD2s look good as well. I am just not sure how a sub play compared to a midbass driver if that makes any sense. It doesnt have to be RF,but i will consider those 2. thanks for the input. bcbrassard
T400-4 puts out 150 rms in 2 ohm. That would get the midbass moving some.
JNells
You could always hop on the XXX6.5c bandwagon. Those puppies have mid bass for days! Haha. Malibu Build Log
JNells
T400-4 puts out 150 rms in 2 ohm. That would get the midbass moving some. And that is set up perfectly for the XXXs. 150@2ohm. That would be a lot of component sets in your system, but I doubt there's a better mid bass driver for the money than the XXX. Smoove
You could try a Sundown X6.5 when they come out 2 Team Fi 15's v1 2 DD M5's 970amps of Alt 6th order blowthroughThe truck Blowthrough build : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/155555-smooves-1996-chevy-ext-cab-c1500-slow-build/The 350z build : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/170694-smooves-2003-nissan-350z/ My FB page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Smooves-Car-Audio-and-performance/719746144805343 Team Fi Audio http://www.ficaraudio.com/

Whats the mounting depth of the XXXs? And price range? I would consider a good 6.5 midbass driver. Ever since we rented that mustang in Hawaii with the 8s up front i have been kinda hooked on the idea. But i am open to it.
