hdorre
Im going to throw them on for like a week and a half until I could do some more work on them. Im only installing the handle and window/lock switches most likely.. No trim pieces.. I noticed one little problem. Well, its not really a problem, but its gonna bug me. See that little gap? Some filler got in the way. Ill need to sand that off tomorrow. That's all for now. mbdblue
wwhhaaa I thought you were gonna wrap them?? Not bad lookin man. I probably would have knocked down some of the rougher glass with a grinding disc and went over it using more layers. And there's always duraglas to fill in a little deeper....however it is heavier and will weigh down the panel more than rage will. But I couldn't mold the door the way i originally wanted to due to the seats being too close to the door. The one raised speaker per panel would throw me off, so i figured Id paint. I found a color that matches.. but the only con is that it doesnt have a "grain." No HUGE deal to me. Hmm.. Duraglas.. Thats the reinforced stuff, right? If so, I'm going with that. I think they make "textured" spray paint, might be something to look into to get that look. I think just painting them and making them either glossy or a nice satin finish would be awesome. Maybe try out flocking on the doors? Ive seen a couple members do it on here, Wicks is one of em. New to the car audio world and looking to learn as much as I can.
