JEFFYBOI
So have any of you wired a 1 ohm stable amp to 0.5 ohm? Im sure results will vary with different amps but if you have can you share your results with how it turned out. What amps? Did it go up in flames? lol.. What were you running? JEFFYBOI
Probably shouldn't do it. That's pretty clear. Lets say this has nothing to do with me. Im asking for results from people who have done it. xxgokouxx
What amp? My CT 1400.1 is rated down to 1 ohm, I don't think there's anywhere that says it's .5 ohm stable and I'm on .5 ohm.
Jessica
have wired 2 1 ohm amps down to .25 strapped. Played for a few minutes, tried "white clouds", was a bit into clipping when the bass dropped and master amp went into protect. Wired back up to 1ohm strapped and never looked back. That little tiny gain was not worth smoking $700 worth of amps but it was a fun experiment. Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. Sutliff
I do believe the 'ol 225 HCCA's were listed as 1-Ohm stable in the books, ... but I went 0.5 - they could all do that ... & there were stories that some could rock it even a bit lower. If the Manuals said it was 0.5-stable to begin with, ... I humbly apologize.
