I think anyone under 10 gets a headsets and light treatment (bass not full throttle) IF and ONLY if they are one of those kids who truly loves bass and WANTS to hear it. Believe me, there are kids who are crazy for this stuff and beg to jump in. Any kid over 10 can wear the headset or plug his ears. I would judge how loud to play it by how cocky the kid is lol - if he is like this ain't shiiiiiz, i might step it up a notch. But this is WITH the parents there and the kid ASKING to experience it. I never would put any animal or infant in my ride and turn it up like that. i just wanted to post because i have had young kids in my rides (at shows, with parents) so we aren't all bad. It's a case by case basis.
