hispls
Let's get this 100% clear. When you switch which amp is set to master and slave the slave always protects or one particular amp always protects regardles of whether it is set to master or slave? Amart88
Update. I swapped the Master/slave settings. The same amp (now the master) protected. I hooked my DMM on ohms to the speaker wires and the thing is reading 0.4 ish ohms per side which makes no sense. That cant be right. sometimes it would go down to 0.1ohm and up to 0.6 on both. randomly but overall showing 0.4 ohms. im going to borrow an analog ohm meter to double check. Amart88
Is that while playing sounds like you have an open or shorted coil No not while playing. with the speaker wires pulled out of amp. I checked multiple times and get 0.4-0.5 ohms on one side and 0.3-0.4 on the other but when i first touch it goes to 0.5... I did a dc volt drop test on the speaker wires also, both show 0.000 which means nothing came undone. I hooked both amps back up and swapped them. Lost a great deal of loudness. but all woofer seem to be moving the same amount... this is messed. My 2005 s10 blazer build. 4 zcon 18's walled.
