Non-permanent way of gluing aeroports?

Recommended Posts

I have them duct taped together right now. Looking for something a bit more solid since mine are pretty long - full length plus another 9" section.

Issue is I don't want to use PVC glue because it's irreversable. If I need to make changes to my ports... Well... Do the math. 5 aeros plus 5 extra coupling rings plus 5 extra tubes. $$$

I don't use duct tape but the actual foil duct tape. It holds a lot better and isn't that expensive. You can get a roll at Lowes for ten bucks and it holds like a boss. I've also used silicone in the past and it will pull apart under enough pressure.

Silicone eh? Never thought of that one

Are they butt or sleeve?

They are two equal diameter pipes with a sleeve that slides over the seam. Note that the sleeve doesn't have a lip on the inside to hold the pipe as I've seen on the plumbing variety

Kind of like this
