crw092782 Posted July 5, 2014 Report Posted July 5, 2014 I ordered an alternator in April and had not heard anything from them. I called a few times and they never responded to my messages. I finally got a hold of someone and they said it would be 2 more weeks and it will ship. That was 3 weeks ago. Anyone else have trouble with this taking a long time? I am wishing I would have ordered a Mechman or Singer alt instead. 2004 Pontiac Vibe Build Sony MEX-N5000BT JBL P660C x 2 Sundown Audio Zv4 18 Crescendo BC2000D Crescendo S800/4 Execution Audio 0 AWG Wire Sky High Car Audio RCA's Toolmaker Terminals XS Power D1200 DC Power 240HP Alternator Viper 5706
OrionStang Posted July 5, 2014 Report Posted July 5, 2014 Depends on what vehicle its for, and how much work is ahead of you. They sometimes receive large contract orders, which will take priority over single alt orders. Its business. Just stay on them, like call every other day LOL. I live 30 minutes away from them, never had an issue. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

walwalka Posted July 5, 2014 Report Posted July 5, 2014 They have had mine for RMA for a little over a month now and are just getting around to fixing it. But they are the best of the best in my book. diegoclass2010 Posted July 5, 2014 Report Posted July 5, 2014 pretty much what every one said, just keep calling them. when i first order it they said it should be ready in 2 weeks, good thing it wasn't my first DC alt, i just kept calling them like every two weeks, then finally 6 weeks later it came in. well worth the wait.
Broke_Audio_Addict Posted July 5, 2014 Report Posted July 5, 2014 I got mine In about a week. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
