OrionStang
Nice. What'd the ol' lady have to say about it? she's a good woman, she was making sure i was ok not even caring about the ring. She knows we can get it fixed. God damn i feel dumb though i shoulda known. There is so much raw terminal down there it is an accident waiting to happen. oh, at least i got my first real number out of the tercel right afterward. It needs work but its off to a NICCCEEE start My wife would have made sure I was ok, then the latin shit storm would come LOL. Lesson learned, though. In for Tercel numbers!! 1 Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
GSanders17
I was shown rather graphic pictures when I was going to school for automotive system technologies of what can happen when jewelry is involved when battery terminals are arced together. They were shown to get the point across to never wear jewelry when servicing electrical components and batteries. Sucks but it could have been worse, thankfully it wasn't! DubNDodge
In for numbers for sure. Glad you are ok. I always have a heart attack when I short something out/ reconnect something and see sparks. Most recent I was taking the + clamp off of my hookup in the front of my car, I wasn't paying attention and dragged it too close to the transmission computer and BZZZZZZZZ. Thankfully it didn't ruin the computer and only took a small chunk out of the clamp, nothing too costly. Personally I'd keep the ring like that. Always a good story piece and it adds character to the ring. Then again I don't have any rings close to that value lol. gr8handogoatness
Yeah I've had too many close calls with mine so I just never wear it anymore. I like my ring and what it represents but I also don't want to lose any fingers or hands or arms or life, so I figure not wearing it will be easier.
