bassaddiction
at first when i 2x my power to subs i thought it was just panels in truck flexing. yesterday i tried finding where noise was coming from everything look good. so i turned it up and saw the rear sub close to the port was flex a lot harder then the front one. the noise i heard was the mechanical limit of the sub lol. ooops. how do i stop that a baffle or some shit like that. here picks of my box
bassaddiction
OK i added a baffle its the with the box and 11 in deep. i put it under the subwoofer close to the port . its still making that noise on the high notes. and think its even worse then before could it be that the new sub is fighting the recone
MrSkippyJ
maybe don't put 2x power to your subs? gckless
If it's on higher notes, it might not be unloading, might be the sub itself. Try switching the two subs, see if the problem stays with that sub or not. Also, you have a lot of loose wiring, secure that so you're sure it's not that. "Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. It's like witchcraft... it automatically explains just about everything people don't understand.
