Mechman Alternators Offical Demo HEARSE

Recommended Posts

What is the expected completion day? And by competition I mean, the first demo of full power?

Wellllllll 18 level 5 15s are getting started on being built :o. But full power? That depends on the amp companies lol. Still finalizing who for amps atm

So, we are doing something a little bit different...

With (18) DC audio level 5 15" subs, and 10 huge amplifiers, we will be overloading the rear end of the hearse, before we even put batteries in, SO- we are building a custom trailer to pull behind it. We are custom building the trailer in house with independent Timbren heavy duty axle-less suspension, oversize 10" trailer brakes and heavy duty axles. The trailer will only be 4' by 4' by 6' long, but it will have brakes, use the same wheels as the hearse, and will be rated to carry 3500 lbs! (you can never find a small trailer rated to carry that much) We will run several 600 amp couplers and MULTIPLE runs of cable to carry the current from the trailer batteries up to the batteries in the back of the hearse.

This Hearse is going to be a driver, so we wanted the extra load capacity and brakes so that it is nice and safe on long trips to shows.... Here are some pics!
