Kenny's burb 2017, 2018 2 time, World title holder -Psyclone

Recommended Posts

Time for loud i guess........ thanks again Mike. ;)

we went with a transpo on EACH alt..... custom plugs, and relays for some sneaky shit, or, just shit to get it to work reliable lol.

Bats are in, made the bars for em, drilled and tapped them. And there is a idea or 3 kenny came up with for amp mounting.

There is a show on sunday, and its like 40 minutes away, and we are gonna pass on it LOL. First show weve missed this season with in area reason, and we are missing it, .... to try and do this one some what correct. Take more time. Also, a RTA mic add on for the Term LAB was purchased to try and learn, and get our RTA score up for psyclone...... We have already qualified for db drag (i think we are points leader in the nation for that) and bass race. We just need to show up at any show to qualify for psyclone also. Hat trick for the win. :)

Thank god they have a western finals, the 25 hour drive one way to kentucky, DIDNT look cool. So that was a awesome thing to happen.

Finals push, fml. ...

Anyway, again, thanks for looking, and, stay tuned ;)

Thank you. This kid does nice work. We both arent the best at the best finishing work. But, this isnt no car show type build. But for what it is, we are extremely happy with it. Its been a "first" for both of us in many ways. First A pillars, First door panels from begining to end, First time high volt, first quad set up, first band pass enclosure built. Many firsts, and i think we are doing fine. Kenny knows what hes doing, and what he wants. Mad respect. He amazes me with what he comes up with.

Heres some shots, of the bars made, and secure.

Here we doubled up the HOT placement, i think the tig weld could have been more pretty, but, it will work.

Got the XS charger rolling. It was at a pegged 30amp the entire time i was there, charging around 18.4, after 6 hours, it started to drop a bit, seeing 19v again, after 6 hours. Maybe we need to buy another 30 amper, OR sell this one and get a big one. Guess 20 bats takes a lil bit long......

My charger will sit at 18.8 for almost 10 hours then it'll slowly drop down to 18.3

I have a 25 amp charger with 12 batts

I hear ya,.. im gonna talk with scottie, i think well just keep the 30 amper, and throw a 60 amper with it....... No way this bank isnt gonna get treated like gold.

I was skeptical originally and always thought it wasn't the "mans" way of doing a build but after playing it for a couple months, I will not go back. Amps run cooler and I can play with the car off for hours without having problems.

You'll love it

:ninja:

Thanks my friend. I appreciate all the help you've give us the last year and change lol. Thanks man.

Soooo. 6 runs from the front fused.

18740_zps0pcpxs5i.jpeg

Then. A first for us ever. Amp fusing. For us, in psyclone, that the first 10 point gain we've ever had. Each amp will have a single run. No dual run. With added voltage, we don't think we need duals. So there's a 10 point gain in psyclone ;) score is goin up, not even playin it.

18743_zps32rjsfnz.jpeg

Also, we have never had rear fill. Not in the blazer nor this. There is 10 more ppints. With out even making noise.

Looks dirty. It'll be wiped off. Trust me. Meh like it really matters.

So all our psyclone points were 20 (yes 20) down at every show. And that's a lot.

Again. We got the rta mic, hoping for another good 8 or 9 point add. We get our rta up from 85 to 95 or so. You psyclone runners better look out ;)

Gay ass amp fusing will be visible for judges. And of course to get to in case.

Still getting the amp rack done. And still need to take all the alts off, and re solder the high volt plugs in. Wire the transpos up, mount the dials. Ugh. So much going on and to do. Why, why did we do all this 2 weeks before a show, and a month before finals :/

Oh ya. Now I remember. ; )
