Got some more time to work on the THT tonight. Here I am gluing in the driver mounting panel:

Here is a close up of the glue line, some people think I won't be able to get air-tight joints on this build using Titebond instead of an expanding polyurethane adhesive (PL Premium), challenge accepted :-)

Fifth panel being attached:

I'm getting a lot of use out of my tapered cauls on this build:

Nice work as usual.

Whoever thinks you can't get an airtight seal with titebond needs some better saw skills.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

All of Bill Fitzmaurice's designs include well thought out bracing. Since they are all made out of 1/2" plywood, they much be braced well. Here is the bracing under the sub driver:

More progress, I'm just about to have this thing wrapped up. Here I'm gluing in the last of the panels:

The horn mouth brace being glued in:

Here is a good shot of the all the interior panels so you can see what going on with this thing, the opening on the left side above the horn mouth is where the access panel will go. This is a front loaded horn design so in operation that opening will be covered so the back of the cone will be in a sealed chamber:

Getting ready to glue on the other side panel, I put glue all along the panel edges and then set the side on temporarily. I then take it off to see where glue transferred. Ideally it will have transferred everywhere, but that never happens. Spots where it didn't transfer are areas that will need extra clamping. This one came out looking pretty good:

I can never have enough clamps:
