After fixing one thing another thing breaks 3. vanos engine - the biggest mistake in german history (M5 is less expensive to maintain ) 4. Cold air intake upgrade = $900 for extra 10-15hp 5. 15mpg 6. Random misfires / fuel cut off on cold weather 7. Super expensive parts 8. Cant fit 4 ppl in without keeping my knees above steering wheel 9. Slow 10. Dash rattles at idle 4. Expensive maintenance costs 5. Weak IFS when lifted with bigger tires 6. Worst fuel mileage of 01-10 duramaxs 7. JL clean sweep acts up and only works when it wants 8. Tires are expensive and only last 20-30k 9. It's a pain to work on anything under the hood zero room 10. LMM's are fucking powerhouses with simple mods... downpipe, 4 or 5 inch straightpipe, delete that fucker too. A half ass decent intake, and a nice set of EFI Live tunes...you're golden. 20mpg+ easy. but yes, fuck the front end, and the maintenance costs on one of those pieces of shit. only thing that is half way worth the damn in that truck is the rear axle imo. Horrible gas mileage (15mpg) 3. No Suspension upgrades whatsoever4. HO alt option is terrible5. Sunroof leaks(leaked without bass)6. Ignition coils go out often and intake manifold has to be removed to change them7. Gas tank is full of air and is annoying to fill my gas up cause I have to go slow8. Dome lights, dashboard lights don't work, side mirror adjuster dont work9. Untraceble Coolant and Vaccum leak10. Dan2427 Posted January 19, 2016 Report Share Posted January 19, 2016 I got dual fuelers and S475 Borg over stock turbo and completely deleted 4 inch down pipe and 5 inch exhaust she's around 650 in the hot tune. I always run it in light tow tune (3) it seems to be the most street able. Best I have got for fuel mileage is 19 highway non stop til I filled again but mostly it's around 15-17 depending on idle time.
